Spring Dahlia Sale and Fall Show:

CSDS Annual Dahlia Sale

Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3

10 am – 4 pm

Chicago Botanic Gardens, Burnstein Hall

If you are not a member of the Chicago Botanic Garden (CBG), consider purchasing your admission ticket to CBG in advance to ensure your preferred date and time. Members of reciprocal gardens do not need tickets but will have to pay for parking. CBG members do not need tickets nor pay for parking.

Admission to the dahlia sale is free and included in your admission to CBG.

We are certainly thinking about the CSDS spring dahlia sale. We are excited and what a great way for you to already be looking forward to spring. The sale is our annual fundraiser and a great opportunity to add some new dahlia varieties to your collection. Some of our offerings are prize-winning varieties from previous years' dahlia shows.

We will publish names and photos of the available varieties as our propagation teams and club members let us know what they expect to have for sale. As you might expect, that will be shortly before the sale. This gives you an opportunity to dream a bit, and more importantly, prepare your shopping list!  Additional varieties not listed may also be offered. Some varieties will be in very limited supply and will go quickly.

Plants that are unsold at the end of the Chicago Botanic Garden sale and those that weren't quite ready for the sale will be offered at an online sale.  Details for that will follow.

This is a great event to invite family and friends who are also interested in growing dahlias. Look for more information by email throughout April. If you are not a CSDS member, sign up to get updates about the sale below. To become a member, JOIN HERE.
