Central States Dahlia Society hosts the
American Dahlia Society's 51st National Dahlia Show

Saturday, Sept 9, 2017, noon – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept 10, 2017, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Dahlias are known for their bright, vibrant colors and perfect petal arrangement, ranging in size from micro dahlias, less than two inches in size, to twelve-inch dinner plate dahlias. (See our boards on Pinterest.)

American Dahlia Society's National Dahlia Show, will be hosted by Central States Dahlia Society at the beautiful Chicago Botanic Garden on September 9-10, 2017. Exhibitors will feature close to 2000 dahlia blooms representing more than 20 classifications. All CBG visitors are invited to view this one-of-a-kind event, at no additional fee. In addition to the magnificent individual dahlia blooms, there will be floral arrangements and photography on display for all to see. Society members will be on hand to provide written information and to answer questions about dahlias. To obtain more information about the show click the button below.

2018 CSDS Annual Dahlia Plant Sale

The Central States Dahlia Society presents its Annual Dahlia Plant & Tuber Sale on May 2018 (dates TBD) at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The sale will feature show quality dahlia tubers and plants representing an array of varieties, sizes, shapes, and colors. This is a great opportunity to purchase dahlia tubers and plants that will be seen on display at the many American Dahlia Society shows presented by it's affiliate societies throughout the midwestern states. The Chicago Botanic Garden is the venue for all CSDS future sales and shows. Dates for 2018 will be posted in January. Society members are always available to answer questions and provide written information about dahlia showing, planting, growing, storing, and general care.
